Diabetes is mainly categorized into two types, namely type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Type 1diabetes is primarily to stop the production of insulin because the body autoimmunedestruction of beta cells of the pancreas responsible for insulin secretion. Type 1 diabetesis also called insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, as insulin doses are a must here. Type 2 diabetes is not due to the low production of insulin receptors or cells that respond to the insulin produced. This condition is called insulin resistance. The good news about diabetes is that they are controlled or managed by either naturally by eating a balanced diet, regular physical activity.
Diet should be balanced in the sense that a diet rich in food. A diet rich in fiber is recommended. Examples of fiber-rich diet of carrots, broccoli, peas, beans, apples, bananas, apricots.
